U.S. Opens New Door for Kenyans to Study and Work in America

The United States Embassy in Nairobi has opened applications for the 2026/2027 Fulbright Programme, giving Kenyan students and teachers a fresh chance to study and work in the United States.

In a statement, the embassy announced the launch of the Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) Programme, which allows Kenyans to travel to the U.S. and teach their native languages in American colleges and universities.

The programme is aimed at promoting cultural exchange by allowing Americans to learn foreign languages and cultures directly from native speakers.
