Tragedy as Pregnant Woman & Unborn Baby Dies in Road Accident

A family in Nandi County is in deep mourning after losing their loved one in a tragic road accident.

Ruth Jerop, a young woman who was expecting a child, sadly lost her life on Friday, March 27. The accident happened at Hawai area along the busy Eldoret–Iten road as she was heading back home from a clinic.

According to reports shared online, Jerop had just attended a medical check-up before the unfortunate incident occurred. Sadly, both her life and that of her unborn baby were lost in the crash.

Photos from the scene showed a large crowd gathering as her body was covered with a sheet, a moment that left many shocked and heartbroken.

Family and Friends Struggle to Accept the Loss

The sudden death of Jerop has left her family and friends in deep pain. Losing both a mother and her unborn child at the same time has made the situation even more painful for those close to her.

Leaders and community members from Nandi have also expressed their condolences, describing the incident as a huge loss to the family.

One local leader said it was extremely difficult for any family to lose loved ones in such a tragic way and asked God to give them strength during this hard time.
