Abigail Chepkemboi, an Electrical Engineering student at Eldoret National Polytechnic, shared her story while standing next to President Ruto during the commissioning of the project.
She says she used to work at mjengo and was lucky when the foreman needed electrical engineers to help with the installation. She was picked among the workers, and through the money she earned, she saved and made a wise decision to deposit KSh 32,000 to acquire a unit on the 12th floor.
She will now be paying KSh 3,800 monthly until she fully acquires the house.
Abigail says she is happy that she will now move out of the hostel and live in her own house at Pioneer in Eldoret town. 🏠❤️
