Brian Okello, famously known as “Mr Superman,” has become a symbol of bravery after going viral for defending a woman during a boda boda dispute. Following the incident, he has received an outpouring of support from both the public and local businesses.

A woman-owned shop gifted Okello a brand-new pair of shoes, with many Kenyans praising his courage online. Popular content creator 2Mbili also stepped in, sharing Okello’s contact details and encouraging people to support him with lunch and other assistance.

Okello recounted the events that led to the altercation. He explained that the dispute began when a woman, unable to complete a fare payment immediately, requested a few minutes to go into her apartment and charge her phone. The boda boda rider reportedly refused, which escalated into a confrontation.

Stepping in to defend the woman, Okello was attacked by other boda boda riders. The incident drew widespread attention online, generating both admiration and mixed reactions.
