Casemiro Exit Confirmed: Who Will Replace Him at Manchester United?

Manchester United  already planning for the future as veteran midfielder Casemiro prepares to leave the club.

Reports suggest that United are interested in signing Bruno Guimarães as a possible replacement. The midfielder has been one of the best players at Newcastle United and has shown he can perform well in the Premier League.

According to reports, Manchester United officials have already held talks with Guimarães’ representatives to understand the possibility of a transfer. Well-known transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano has also backed these claims.

The deal could be possible financially, with reports indicating that a fee of around £60 million may be enough to sign him. Newcastle’s current struggles could also play a role. If they fail to qualify for European competitions next season, Guimarães might consider leaving.

Another player on United’s radar is Sandro Tonali. The Italian midfielder could also be open to a move if Newcastle’s poor form continues.

Meanwhile, United is keeping other options in mind. Elliot Anderson from Nottingham Forest has impressed this season and is attracting interest from several top clubs, including Manchester City.

Casemiro Set to Leave Old Trafford

Casemiro, now 34, is expected to leave Manchester United when his current contract expires. The Brazilian midfielder reportedly earns a high weekly salary, and the club has decided not to offer him a new deal.

Even though he has performed well recently, United are focused on reducing costs and rebuilding the squad for the future. Co-owner Jim Ratcliffe has already made it clear that lowering expenses is a priority.

The decision was made early so the club can plan properly for next season. Casemiro also agreed for the news to be made public to avoid confusion later in the campaign.

Despite his expected exit, Casemiro has continued to deliver strong performances on the pitch. Teammates like Bruno Fernandes and Leny Yoro have even expressed their hope that he stays at the club.

However, sources say Manchester United have no plans to change their decision. Interim coach Michael Carrick has also indicated that the club will stick with its original plan.

He praised Casemiro’s contribution, saying the midfielder has made a big impact through his leadership, goals, and performances.
