Okoth Obado’s Son Dan Totto Hospitalised After Road Accident While Travelling to Migori

Dan Totto, the son of former Migori Governor Okoth Obado, is recovering in hospital after being involved in a road accident while travelling from Nairobi to Migori on Saturday, August 1.
The accident involved the Lexus RX that Dan was travelling in. Photos and videos shared online showed the SUV badly damaged after the crash, with a towing truck later arriving to remove the vehicle from the scene.
Fortunately, everyone involved survived.
Dan Totto Confirms the Accident
Dan Totto confirmed the accident through a social media post, thanking Kenyans, friends and relatives for their prayers and messages of support.
He said three people were travelling in his vehicle, while the other car had only one occupant.
According to Dan, all four people escaped with minor injuries.
“It is true I was involved in an accident while travelling home from Nairobi. Thankfully, everyone involved suffered only minor injuries. We thank God for protecting us,” he said.

Vehicle Badly Damaged
Images circulating online showed the Lexus with extensive damage, especially on one side of the vehicle, highlighting the impact of the collision.
Despite the damage, the occupants were fortunate to survive with only minor injuries and are expected to recover.
The accident attracted widespread attention on social media, where many Kenyans expressed relief after learning that no lives were lost.
