KUCCPS Announces Support Centres for 2025 KCSE Students Facing Application Problems

The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service has introduced support centres across the country to help 2025 KCSE candidates who are having challenges with their university and college applications.
In a notice released on Tuesday, April 14, KUCCPS said the move is aimed at making sure all qualified students successfully apply for placement in the 2026/2027 academic year.
Support Centres Set Up Across Kenya
KUCCPS has placed these support centres in different universities, technical colleges, and institutions across Kenya to make it easier for students to access help.
Some of the universities offering support services include Alupe University, Bomet University College, Chuka University, Dedan Kimathi University of Technology, Egerton University, Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology, Kaimosi Friends University, and Maseno University.
Other universities include Kabarak University, Daystar University, University of Kabianga, Tom Mboya University, Moi University, Maasai Mara University and Pwani University.
Colleges Also Offering Help
Several technical and vocational colleges are also part of the support programme. These include Belgut Technical and Vocational College, Emurua Dikirr TVC, Isiolo TVC, Total Technical Training Institute, Shamberere Technical Training Institute, Nachu TVC, Maralal TVC, Mabera Technical Training Institute and Lunga Lunga TVC.
Other centres include Laisamis Technical Training Institute, Kinango TVC, Garsen TVC, Endebess Teachers Training College and Mawego National Polytechnic.
What Students Will Get
The support exercise started on April 13 and will run until April 24, 2026. During this period, students can visit any of the centres to get help with:
- Technical issues when using the KUCCPS portal
- Choosing the right courses
- Completing and submitting applications
KUCCPS has also sent trained officers to each centre to guide students and answer their questions.

Apart from the centres, students can also get assistance at Huduma Centres across the country or visit KUCCPS main offices at ACK Garden House in Nairobi.
Students are advised to complete their applications before the deadline on May 6, 2026.
Application Details
This announcement comes shortly after KUCCPS opened its portal for degree applications. The opportunity is for students who scored C+ and above in the 2025 KCSE exams, as well as candidates from previous years.
All applications should be submitted through the KUCCPS online portal before the deadline.
