Kirinyaga County Announces New Jobs, 50 Nursing Positions Available

The Kirinyaga County Public Service Board has announced new job opportunities for qualified Kenyans, with vacancies spread across health services, administration, finance, land, cooperative development and vocational training.
The recruitment includes both permanent and pensionable positions and contract jobs. Healthcare professionals make up most of the advertised opportunities.
Among the biggest opportunities is the recruitment of Registered Nurse III officers, with 50 positions available under Job Group CPSB 11. The nurses will be employed on contract terms.
Other advertised positions include medical specialists, medical officers, clinical officers, laboratory technologists, public health officers, sonographers, community health assistants, medical drivers and support staff.

The board has also re-advertised some positions, including Medical Specialist – ENT Surgeon, Financial Analyst, Weights and Measures Officer, County Valuation Officer and Youth Polytechnic Instructor III – Motor Vehicle Mechanic.
When is the application deadline?
Applicants are required to submit their applications online by midnight on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. Hand-delivered applications will not be accepted.
Applicants interested in re-advertised positions should also submit fresh applications through the current recruitment process.
