Elon Musk Reveals Which Jobs AI Will Replace First
1 min read
Elon Musk believes artificial intelligence (AI) will affect computer-based jobs much faster than jobs that involve physical work.
According to Musk, careers that mainly involve using computers, such as software development, coding and other digital tasks, could be among the first to face major changes as AI technology advances.
He explained that AI can already perform many tasks involving information processing, writing, content creation and solving digital problems.
However, replacing workers who perform physical jobs is more challenging because it requires advanced robots that can operate in unpredictable environments and handle different objects with human-like precision.
This means jobs such as plumbing, electrical installation, welding, farming and construction could take longer to be fully automated.
Musk’s prediction suggests that workers in computer-based careers may need to adapt to AI technology sooner, while skilled workers in physical trades could continue playing an important role for many years.
Although the future of work remains uncertain, AI is expected to change how people work across different industries.
