The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has announced 1,631 promotion vacancies for serving teachers across the country.
The vacancies are for teachers who meet the required qualifications under the TSC Career Progression Guidelines.
TSC Vacancies Available
The advertised positions are:
Deputy Principal III (Regular) – 132 vacancies, Grade D1
Senior Master II – 29 vacancies, Grade D1
Deputy Headteacher II (Regular) – 1,470 vacancies, Grade C4
This brings the total number of available positions to 1,631.
How to Apply for TSC Promotion Jobs
Interested and qualified teachers are required to submit their applications online through the TSC recruitment portal.
Applications should be submitted through teachersonline.go.ke.
The deadline for applications is midnight on Monday, September 14, 2026.
TSC has stated that it will not accept manual applications. Only applications submitted through the online portal will be considered.
Teachers Who Applied Earlier
Teachers who had already applied for these positions under the previous advertisement and successfully submitted their applications do not need to apply again.
Successful applicants will be posted to schools and other institutions where the advertised vacancies are available.
TSC has also encouraged persons with disabilities who meet the requirements to apply.
