A pastor thoroughly beat a man who went to church to share his views without his full authority. In the viral video, the man of God is seen throwing kicks and even using his teeth for defence, leaving the man bleeding from the bite.
The incident happened last Sunday at All Saints Church between a political leader, Innocent Oyoo, the LCII Chairperson for Waimer Ward, and Rev. Canon Richard Ongom.
Oyoo was supposed to address the congregation about local security issues and health safety regarding the use and distribution of mosquito nets.
“I am the authority here! I am not going to allow you to talk here. Go out!” the priest shouted at Oyoo.
Oyoo said he only wanted two minutes to air out his message, but he was not allowed to do so. The fight intensified, and church members came in to separate the two as children were seen running out of the church. This eventually forced the service to end.
It is said that they are Luos from Uganda, and it is their nature to be authoritative and arrogant.
