{VIDEO} Canadian National Arrested After Sword Attack at Westlands Mosque

Police have arrested a Canadian citizen following a shocking early morning attack at a mosque along Waiyaki Way in Westlands.
The incident happened at around 5 AM on Saturday when the suspect reportedly stormed into the mosque armed with a sword and attacked worshippers who had gathered for prayers. At least three people were seriously injured during the incident.
Witnesses say the attacker was quickly overpowered by other worshippers at the mosque before police were alerted. Officers responded swiftly and took the suspect into custody.
The case has now been handed over to the Anti-Terror Police Unit (ATPU) for further investigations. Authorities have confirmed that the suspect is a Canadian passport holder with Somali origins. However, the motive behind the attack has not yet been established.
The injured victims were rushed to different hospitals in Nairobi, where they are currently receiving treatment.
Investigations are ongoing as police work to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
