Safaricom Releases Revised M-Pesa Sending and Withdrawal Fees for 2026

Safaricom has released the official M-Pesa transaction charges that will apply throughout 2026, outlining the cost of sending and withdrawing money across different transaction ranges.

The revised tariffs affect common M-Pesa services such as money transfers between users, withdrawals at agent outlets, transactions involving Pochi La Biashara, Business Till payments to customers, and transfers to other mobile money platforms.

One of the key changes is the alignment of M-Pesa send-money charges across networks. Customers sending money from M-Pesa to Airtel Money or Telkom’s T-Kash will now pay the same fees as those transferring funds to fellow Safaricom users.

For instance, sending Ksh500 now costs Ksh7, regardless of whether the recipient is on M-Pesa, Airtel Money, or T-Kash.

Transaction Limits

Safaricom has maintained existing transaction limits. Users can send up to Ksh250,000 in a single transaction, while the daily transaction and account balance limit remains capped at Ksh500,000.

At agent outlets, customers are not allowed to withdraw amounts below Ksh50.
