KSTVET Invites Kenyans to Apply for Multiple Top Positions

The Kenya School of Technical, Vocational Education and Training (KSTVET) has announced new job openings for senior-level positions in different departments. The institution is inviting qualified Kenyans to apply for five director roles.
These jobs are offered on a five-year contract, and applicants must meet high academic and professional standards. KSTVET is a government institution under the Ministry of Education, State Department for Technical and Vocational Education and Training.
The available positions are based at the Nairobi headquarters and the Moiben Regional Campus.
Available Senior Positions at KSTVET
KSTVET is recruiting for the following director roles:
- Director, Moiben Regional Campus
- Director, Academic and Student Affairs
- Director, Admissions, Assessment and Certification
- Director, Research, Innovation and Extension Services
- Director, Corporate Services
Each position involves leadership, planning, and management responsibilities in its respective department.
Key Duties for the Positions
1. Director – Moiben Regional Campus
- Overall leadership of the campus
- Managing daily operations
- Engaging stakeholders and guiding development
2. Director – Academic and Student Affairs
- Managing academic programmes
- Overseeing curriculum development
- Handling student welfare and quality assurance
3. Director – Admissions, Assessment and Certification
- Managing student admissions
- Overseeing exams and certification
- Maintaining academic records and graduation processes
4. Director – Research, Innovation and Extension Services
- Promoting research and innovation
- Managing partnerships and grants
- Supporting consultancy and technology transfer
5. Director – Corporate Services
- Managing HR, finance, and ICT
- Overseeing communication and compliance
- Handling performance management systems
Requirements for Applicants
To qualify for any of the positions, candidates must meet the following conditions:
- At least 15 years of relevant work experience
- Minimum 3 years at deputy director level or equivalent
- A Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in a relevant field
- A leadership or management training certificate (minimum 4 weeks)
- Strong computer skills
- Membership in a professional body (where applicable)
- Proven leadership and management experience
Applicants must also demonstrate strong performance and professional competence in their previous roles.
