Mombasa County Announces Several Job Vacancies for Nurses and Other Health Workers

The Mombasa County Public Service Board has announced job openings for qualified Kenyans in different health-related fields.
In a notice shared by the county government, interested applicants were asked to submit their applications before the deadline.
According to the board, successful candidates will work under the Department of Health on a three-year contract.
“The Mombasa County Public Service Board is looking for qualified and competent persons to fill various positions in the county government,” the notice stated.
List of Jobs Advertised by Mombasa County
The county government advertised several positions, including:
- Medical Officer
- Registered Nurse III
- Assistant Public Health Officer III
- Assistant Health Records and Information Management Officer III
- Assistant Physiotherapist III
- Assistant Occupational Therapist III
- Registered Nurse I – Theatre Nurse
- Chief Executive Officer
- Director of Human Resource Management
Most of the positions are under Job Group H, while senior positions fall under higher job groups.
How to Apply
Interested applicants have been asked to apply through the Mombasa County Public Service Board recruitment portal.
Candidates are required to attach:
- Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Certified copies of academic and professional certificates
- Academic transcripts
- National ID card or passport
- Any other supporting documents
The county government said all applications must be submitted on or before Tuesday, May 26, 2026.
Important Information for Applicants
Mombasa County reminded Kenyans that the recruitment process is free and warned applicants against paying money to agents or brokers.
The county also said only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interviews.
Applicants with degrees from foreign universities were advised to present clearance certificates from the Commission for University Education during interviews.
At the same time, the county government encouraged youth, women, persons living with disabilities, and people from minority groups to apply for the available positions.
The county further warned that any form of canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification.
University of Eldoret Also Announces Jobs
Separately, the University of Eldoret recently announced job opportunities for professionals in education and other sectors.
