Ministry of Defence Announces 130 Job Vacancies

The Ministry of Defence has announced 130 job opportunities for qualified officers currently serving in the Public Service.
According to a notice issued by Principal Secretary Dr. Patrick Mariru, the vacancies are in several departments, with nurses taking the largest share of the available positions.
Positions Available
- Principal Lecturer – 5 posts
- Principal Registered Nurse – 10 posts
- Senior Registered Nurse – 60 posts
- Registered Nurse I – 25 posts
- Senior Radiographer – 8 posts
- Radiographer I – 8 posts
- Senior Aircraft Technician II – 4 posts
- Senior Health Records and Information Management Assistant – 3 posts
- Senior Occupational Therapist – 2 posts
- Senior Safety Equipment Technician II – 2 posts
- Safety Equipment Technician I – 3 posts
How to Apply
Interested and qualified officers are required to submit their applications online through the Public Service Commission website or the PSC jobs portal.
Applications should reach the commission on or before Monday, June 29, 2026, at 5:00 pm East African Time.
Important Information for Applicants
The Public Service Commission has warned applicants against providing false information or fake certificates, noting that doing so is a criminal offence and will lead to automatic disqualification.
The commission also emphasized that it does not charge any fee for job applications, shortlisting, interviews or appointments, and cautioned members of the public against fraudsters posing as commission officials.
In addition, persons with disabilities, minorities and marginalized groups have been encouraged to apply as part of efforts to promote equal employment opportunities.
