HELB Announces Driver II Job Vacancy in Nairobi; Applications Open Until September 1

The Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) has announced a vacancy for the position of Driver II based in Nairobi.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving official HELB vehicles, transporting authorised staff and materials, and ensuring assigned vehicles are well maintained and in good working condition.

Duties and Responsibilities

The selected applicant will be expected to:

  • Drive official HELB vehicles safely.
  • Transport staff and official materials when required.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections.
  • Report mechanical problems and faults promptly.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and serviceability.
  • Support the organisation’s transport operations.

Requirements

Candidates should have experience in safe driving and basic vehicle maintenance. Knowledge of fleet management will be an added advantage.
