KMTC Announces 678 Vacancies Including 200 Nursing Lecturer Jobs

The Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) has announced 678 job vacancies across its headquarters and campuses.

The vacancies are open to qualified Kenyans in medical, teaching, administrative, ICT, human resource, communication, records management, maintenance and other fields.

Some of the positions advertised include:

  • Senior Lecturer (Dentists) – 5 positions
  • Lecturer II (Nursing) – 200 positions
  • Lecturer II (Clinical Medicine) – 105 positions
  • Lecturer II (Orthopedic and Trauma Medicine) – 20 positions
  • Lecturer II (Community Health) – 20 positions
  • Lecturer (Health Records and Information Technology) – 20 positions
  • Lecturer II (Medical Laboratory Sciences) – 5 positions
  • Lecturer II (Public Health Sciences) – 5 positions
  • Lecturer (Medical Engineering) – 12 positions
  • Lecturer II (Occupational Therapy) – 15 positions
  • Lecturer II (Nutrition) – 15 positions

  • Lecturer (Radiography) – 20 positions
  • Lecturer (Physiotherapy) – 15 positions
  • Lecturer II (COHO) – 10 positions
  • Lecturer (Optometry) – 5 positions
  • Librarian I – 10 positions
  • Orthopedic Trauma Assistant – 5 positions
  • Orthopedic Technologist – 2 positions
  • Pharmaceutical Technologist – 5 positions
  • Physiotherapy Assistant – 4 positions
  • Registered Clinical Officer III – 2 positions
  • Registered Nurse III – 10 positions
  • Medical Engineering Technologist – 5 positions
  • Medical Laboratory Technologist – 25 positions
  • Occupational Therapy Assistant – 5 positions
  • Assistant Radiographer – 5 positions

Other vacancies include positions in human resource management, ICT, legal services, administration, corporate communication, records management, planning, supply chain management, security, housekeeping and maintenance.

How to Apply

KMTC has stated that applications must be submitted online through its recruitment portal.

Applicants should visit the KMTC recruitment website and select the position they qualify for before submitting their applications.

Application deadline: Friday, October 30, 2026.

No hard-copy applications will be accepted.

Applicants are required to provide accurate information and should only include academic and professional qualifications already obtained by the closing date.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to present their original National ID, academic and professional certificates and transcripts during interviews.

KMTC has also warned applicants against submitting fake certificates or documents. Canvassing for the positions will lead to automatic disqualification.

The college says youth, women, persons with disabilities and minorities who meet the requirements are encouraged to apply.
