The Mombasa County Public Service Board has announced 3,000 temporary job opportunities under the County Flood Prevention, Drainage Restoration and Environmental Rapid Response Programme.
The jobs are available through the Mombasa Yangu Programme, which aims to support flood prevention, drainage restoration and environmental response activities across the county.
Successful applicants will be engaged for three months on a casual basis.

The County Public Service Board says the workers will be engaged in phases, depending on operational needs and approved deployment arrangements.

The opportunities are open to youth, women and persons with disabilities who meet the requirements for the casual work.
