Nairobi Water Opens Applications for Mass Hiring; How To Apply

Nairobi City Water and Sewerage Company (NCWSC) has announced 295 job opportunities for Kenyans across 31 different job categories.

In a notice released on May 4, 2026, the company said the recruitment is aimed at strengthening its workforce as it continues to improve water and sewer services for residents.

According to Nairobi Water, they are looking for skilled, qualified, and hardworking individuals who can perform well in a fast-moving work environment.

Jobs Available

Among the advertised positions, the highest number of vacancies is in the Artisan (Water and Sewer) category with 80 positions. Driver jobs follow closely with 70 vacancies.

Other available opportunities include:

27 Ungraded Artisan positions
25 Labourer jobs in different areas
18 Data Verification Assistant positions

For professionals, the company is also hiring:

4 Civil Engineering Officers
3 Mechanical Engineering Officers
3 Electrical Engineering Officers

All these engineering roles are offered on five-year renewable contracts.

In the legal department, there are:

1 Legal Officer (Corporate Services)
2 Legal Officers (Dispute Resolution)

There is also:

1 Survey Officer
2 Survey Assistants

Additional technical roles include ICT Assistants, Bulk Metering Operators, Excavator Operators, Leak Detection staff, and Meter Testing personnel among others.
