PSC Announces 3,000 Internship Opportunities for Graduates

The Public Service Commission (PSC) has invited qualified graduates to apply for 3,000 internship opportunities under the Public Service Internship Programme (PSIP) Cohort 9.
The one-year internship aims to help young graduates gain practical work experience while working in different government institutions across Kenya.
Successful applicants will be posted to various government ministries, state departments, agencies, state corporations and public universities where they will work under experienced supervisors.
Who Can Apply?
To qualify for the internship, applicants must:
- Have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
- Have graduated in 2021 or later.
- Have basic computer skills.
- Not have participated in a similar Government internship programme before.
What Interns Will Do
Successful candidates will be expected to:
- Perform duties assigned by their supervisors.
- Support daily activities in their departments.
- Apply the knowledge gained in university to the workplace.
- Attend training and mentorship sessions.
- Prepare reports and other official documents when required.
- Follow Government rules, procedures and professional ethics.
- Work with other staff members to achieve departmental goals.
Internship Duration
The internship will run for one year.
During this period, interns will gain practical skills, workplace experience and professional mentorship that can improve their chances of getting employment in both the public and private sectors.
