Public Service Commission Announces 770+ Jobs in Kenya

The Public Service Commission (PSC) has announced a major recruitment drive, offering more than 770 job opportunities in different government ministries and state departments.

In a notice published on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, PSC invited qualified Kenyans to apply for the available positions through its official recruitment portal.

Ministries with Job Vacancies

The jobs are spread across several key ministries and departments, including:

Ministry of Internal Security and National Administration
National Treasury
Ministry of Roads
State Department for Housing and Urban Development
State Department for Correctional Services
Ministry of Agriculture
Ministry of Trade

PSC said it is looking for skilled and qualified candidates to fill the positions.

“Applications are invited from qualified persons for various vacant positions,” PSC stated.

PSC listed many entry-level opportunities, including:

Weights and Measures Officer II – 24 positions
Trade Development Officer II – 66 positions
Co-operative Auditor II – 6 positions
Co-operative Officer II – 14 positions
Assistant Co-operative Officer III – 19 positions
Information Officer II – 20 positions
Public Communication Officer II – 18 positions
Photojournalist/Videographer II – 10 positions
Information Assistant III – 30 positions
Public Communication Assistant III – 15 positions

Other positions are also available in agriculture and regional integration.

Senior and Promotional Positions

PSC has also advertised senior-level jobs for experienced professionals. Some of these include:

Secretary, Peace Building and Conflict Management
Director and Deputy Director roles in peace building
Assistant Director positions
Senior Principal Lecturer
Deputy Director, Probation Services (21 positions)
Assistant Director, Probation Services

These roles are mainly in the Ministry of Internal Security and the State Department for Correctional Services.
