Safaricom Opens 2026/27 Internship: How to Apply Before April Deadline

Kenya’s Safaricom has officially launched its internship and attachment programmes for the 2026/2027 financial year, inviting both recent graduates and current students to apply.
The opportunities cover a wide range of disciplines, including human resources, finance, legal, communications, supply chain, marketing, audit, cyber security, and technology.
Internship and Attachment Details
Safaricom’s attachment programme, which runs for three months, is open to students currently enrolled in degree programmes. Intakes are scheduled for April, July, October, and January 2027.
The six-month internship programme targets recent graduates who completed their degrees within the last 12 months, as well as students awaiting graduation. Internship intakes will be in April and October 2026.
“We are inviting bold, curious, and driven young talent to join our 2026/27 annual internship programme—an opportunity to learn, contribute, and shape the future from day one,” the company announced.
Who Can Apply?
Candidates must meet the following requirements:

Be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree programme (3rd, 4th, or 5th year) or have graduated within the last 12 months.

Be available full-time for the chosen intake period.

Apply for only one intake per calendar year.

Commit to the programme for its full duration (three or six months).
