120 Job Vacancies Open at Water Resources Authority (WRA) in Kenya

The Water Resources Authority (WRA) has announced 120 job opportunities for qualified Kenyans in different departments.

WRA is a State Corporation under the Ministry of Water, Sanitation and Irrigation. The authority is responsible for managing and regulating water resources in Kenya under the Water Act 2016.

In the new announcement, WRA said it is looking for skilled and qualified candidates to fill positions in areas such as hydrology, engineering, ICT, customer care, legal services, accounting, geology, laboratory services and office administration.

Some of the available jobs include Hydrologist II, Geologist II, Chemist II, ICT Officer II, Legal Officer II, Planning Officer II, Driver II, Office Assistant and Customer Care Assistant among others.

The authority has also advertised several entry-level positions for diploma and certificate holders, giving young graduates a chance to secure government jobs.

According to the advert, successful applicants will first serve a six-month probation period before being confirmed on permanent and pensionable terms.

WRA said interested candidates should submit their applications online before June 1, 2026. Hard copy applications can also be delivered to the WRA offices located at NHIF Building, 9th Floor, Ragati Road in Nairobi.

Applicants are required to meet the qualifications listed for each position. The authority also warned that canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to present clearance certificates from the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), Higher Education Loans Board (HELB), Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), and a Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).

WRA encouraged persons living with disabilities to apply, saying it is an equal opportunity employer that supports diversity and gender equality.
