A group of Arsenal Football Club supporters visited Kang’o Ka Jaramogi to honour the memory of the late former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, who was widely known as a passionate supporter of the English club.

The fans, most of them dressed in Arsenal jerseys, were seen singing, dancing, and waving club banners as they celebrated the club’s English Premier League (EPL) title victory after 22 years.

Videos shared online showed emotional moments as supporters remembered Raila while also celebrating Arsenal’s long-awaited league success. Some fans compared Arsenal’s difficult journey to winning the title with Raila’s long political journey in Kenya.

One fan said Arsenal finally won the league after many years when Raila was no longer alive to witness it. Another supporter joked that if Arsenal managed to win the EPL, then Raila would also have won the presidency next year.
