China Sex Toy Companies Slowly Embrace AI Trend

Chinese companies that make adult products are now beginning to use artificial intelligence (AI) in their products, as the technology continues to grow worldwide.

During a major adult products exhibition held in Shanghai over the weekend, visitors were introduced to AI-powered devices such as voice-controlled gadgets, video-synced products, and chatbot companions.

China remains the world’s biggest manufacturer of adult toys, and many companies are now looking at how AI can improve customer experience.

Some businesses at the event openly displayed their smart products, while others said they were being careful because of possible legal and privacy issues linked to AI-generated adult content.

One company from Guangzhou introduced an app known as Luvmazer, which allows users to chat with virtual partners. The conversations can then be linked to vibration devices, creating a more interactive experience.

The company promoted the app as a new way of offering virtual companionship through AI.

At another stand, a company called Cydoll displayed a life-sized silicon doll designed with advanced features that allow it to show more natural emotions and even speech.

A company representative explained that many people today spend more time alone on their phones or computers and may still want some form of companionship.

Several companies also presented products that can sync with adult videos using machine learning technology. These devices automatically change speed, pressure, and pulse patterns depending on what is playing in the video.

Industry insiders said this feature, once considered unique, is now becoming common in the market.

Another company showcased devices with long-distance control, virtual partner personalities, and sound-responsive vibration settings.

Concerns Over Regulation and Privacy

Despite the excitement around AI, many exhibitors admitted they are moving carefully.

Some firms are worried about legal problems, especially because adult content laws in mainland China are strict.

Pornographic material remains illegal in China, and many adult websites are blocked unless users access them through VPN services.

There are also growing concerns about privacy, especially with AI apps that can generate images, videos, or even alter faces.

Some experts warned that features such as face-swapping technology could raise consent and misuse issues.

Several manufacturers said they are willing to work with AI developers but only after ensuring that the technology meets legal standards and protects user privacy.

One business owner said companies must be very careful to avoid complaints from consumers and possible legal action.

As AI continues to transform industries worldwide, China’s adult products sector appears ready to adopt the technology — but with caution.
