TSC and ODPP Advertise 387 Job Vacancies for Lawyers, Accountants and Other Professionals

The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) and the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) have announced a total of 387 job openings, giving thousands of Kenyans a chance to secure employment in the public sector.
The two government institutions are recruiting professionals across several departments, including law, finance, administration, auditing, information technology, research, and education management.
ODPP Announces Over 200 Positions
The prosecution office is looking to hire 217 new staff members to strengthen its operations across the country.
A large portion of the vacancies includes 140 Prosecution Counsel positions under grade DPP Seven. These roles are meant for qualified lawyers who will support criminal prosecution and legal representation in courts.
Other opportunities advertised by the ODPP include jobs for:

Office assistants
Applicants interested in these roles must submit their applications through the ODPP online recruitment portal before March 30 at 5pm.
Shortlisted candidates will later be required to present original documents, including national identification, academic certificates, transcripts, and professional qualifications during the interview process.
TSC Announces 170 Vacancies
At the same time, the Teachers Service Commission has advertised 170 positions aimed at strengthening teacher management and oversight across the country.

Deputy Directors in Human Resource Development and Risk Management

Principal Officers responsible for teacher professional management, staffing, and discipline
The largest number of openings falls under Assistant Director Teacher Management, with 132 field officer positions available. These officers will oversee supervision, monitoring, and management of teachers in schools across different regions.
Candidates interested in TSC jobs must submit their applications through the TSC online recruitment system before March 23 at 11:59 pm.
Warning to Job Seekers
The Teachers Service Commission has warned Kenyans to avoid paying money to anyone during the recruitment process.
According to the commission, all applications are free, and no fees are required at any stage of hiring.
The commission also stressed that applications must be submitted online, and any individual who provides false information or fake documents will be automatically disqualified.
Such actions may also lead to prosecution under the Public Officers Ethics Act, which regulates public service recruitment in Kenya.
