How to Check 2025 KCSE Results Online and via SMS
The 2025 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) results have been officially released. Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba announced the results during a ceremony at Chebisas High School in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County on January 9, 2026.
According to Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) data, a total of 996,078 candidates from 10,755 examination centres participated in the exams across the country. Students can now access their results through several official platforms.

Steps to check your results online:

Choose the examination year (2025).

The portal is designed to handle heavy traffic and includes security measures to prevent unauthorized access.
Note: Schools will also receive printed result slips. Candidates experiencing delays online are encouraged to collect their results from their schools.
CS Ogamba warned against fake sources, stating:

Understanding Symbols on Your KCSE Result Slip
When reviewing your KCSE slip, you may see certain symbols that indicate special circumstances:
