Iran Responds After Muhoozi Claims Uganda Can Capture Tehran in Just 14 Days

Uganda’s Chief of Defence Forces, Muhoozi Kainerugaba, has sparked global attention after making bold claims about a possible war involving the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Muhoozi, who has been active on social media in recent days, openly declared support for Israel in the ongoing tensions involving Iran and the United States.

Muhoozi’s Bold Claim

In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), the Ugandan general claimed that the Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) can defeat Iran within a very short time.

According to him, it would take only 14 days for Ugandan forces to take control of Tehran, the capital city of Iran.

He further suggested that a single UPDF brigade would be enough to complete the mission.

However, the post was later deleted.

Iran Fires Back

Iran did not take long to respond. In a sarcastic reply, the country dismissed Muhoozi’s remarks and appeared to mock his statement.

In its response, Iran described the Ugandan general as a source of entertainment, comparing him to a performer on a talent show.

The comment quickly attracted attention online, with many social media users reacting to the exchange.

Rising Online Debate

The remarks have sparked debate across social media, with some people supporting Muhoozi’s confidence while others criticized his statements as unrealistic.
