Kalonzo Writes to Pope Leo Seeking Prayers for Kenya’s Leadership and Peace

Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has written a heartfelt letter to Pope Leo XIV ahead of his first visit to Africa as the head of the Catholic Church.

In the message, Kalonzo warmly welcomed the Pope to Africa and said the visit is very important for a continent known for strong faith, hope, and resilience.

According to Kalonzo, Africa is a land filled with deep spiritual values and millions of people who strongly believe in God. He said the Pope’s visit brings joy and hope to many people across the continent.

The Wiper leader noted that even though Kenya is not among the countries the Pope is expected to visit during this trip, Kenyans are still happy to receive his blessings and prayers from afar.

Pope Leo’s African visit is expected to include countries such as Algeria, Cameroon, Angola, and Equatorial Guinea.

Kalonzo expressed hope that one day the Pope will also visit Kenya, saying the country has always had a strong relationship with the Holy See.

In his letter, he also praised the Pope for speaking strongly about peace, human dignity, and the importance of family values in society.

Most importantly, Kalonzo asked the Pope to pray for Kenya so that the country can have peace and leaders who truly work for the people.

He said Kenya needs leaders who govern for the common good and not for their personal interests.

Kalonzo further appealed for prayers for national unity, peace, and social harmony among Kenyans.

He ended the message by assuring the Pope that Kenyans stand with him in prayer and solidarity.

The letter comes at a time when many Kenyans continue to call for better leadership and good governance in the country.
