Kibandaski Owner Alleges Karen Nyamu’s Supporters Ate Food Worth KSh 29,950 and Refused to Pay

Kamau wa Kisumu, who owns a kibandaski along Mama Lucy–Kangundo Road, has come out to express his anger towards Karen Nyamu. He claims she sent her supporters to his small hotel, where they consumed chips, sodas, and samaki worth Ksh 29,950, but she later refused to pay.
He says he is now left with no stock and cannot pay his three employees, who used to earn Ksh 500 each per day.
He adds that he opened the hotel after selling his cow back in the village to start a life in Nairobi. “Nilienda nyumbani nikauza ng’ombe nifungue hoteli, na kwa hii hoteli sasa serikali imeingilia.”
He further alleges that Karen Nyamu has promised to send other people to eat for free at the hotel for a second time, and he is now calling on Kenyans to help.
