2 min read
The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has announced the opening of applications for the Diploma in Law (Paralegal Studies) programme at the Kenya School of Law (KSL) for the May 2026 intake.
The programme, offered under KSL’s Paralegal Training Programme (PTP), targets individuals interested in entering the legal profession as paralegals.
It is available at KSL’s Karen Campus and Town Campus in Nairobi’s central business district, with options for day classes (in-person) or evening virtual courses.
Eligibility requirements include:
A mean grade of C (plain) in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE).
At least a C+ (plus) in either English or Kiswahili.
Applications opened on Monday, February 23, 2026, and will close on Sunday, March 9, 2026.
Interested applicants must submit their applications through the KUCCPS online portal at students.kuccps.net.
This follows the successful partnership between KUCCPS and KSL, which began in early 2025 to make paralegal studies more accessible.
The programme equips graduates with skills for roles in legal support, administration, and related fields.
Applicants are advised to log into the KUCCPS Student Portal promptly, review available programmes, and complete the process before the deadline.
No application fees are mentioned in the notice, but standard KUCCPS portal procedures apply.
The opportunity comes amid growing interest in legal education and paralegal careers in Kenya, providing a pathway for those who may not pursue full law degrees.
