Lady Anyango Jabalo caused emotional reactions after she burst into tears while pleading with Ida Odinga to show mercy to all the children of the late Jaramogi Oginga Odinga.
Speaking passionately, Lady Anyango said that some of Jaramogi’s children have been ignored and left out of the family inheritance, while others enjoy all the benefits.
Crying loudly, she begged Ida Odinga to consider the children who, according to her, have suffered all their lives.

She called Aida affectionate names like “my daughter” and “Nyamalo,” asking her to do justice because all the children are equal.
Lady Anyango said she felt forced to speak before she dies, claiming she fears for her life and believes there is a plan to silence her.
She explained that the neglected children are poor and powerless, with no money or support to take the matter to court.

According to her, they have lived under oppression and fear, unable to speak out because of possible threats to their lives.
Lady Anyango shared personal stories about her late sister, who she said was married to Jaramogi Oginga Odinga and loved deeply.
She claimed there was strong closeness in the family despite the challenges of sharing a husband.
Because of this bond, she said she feels responsible for fighting for Jaramogi’s children who have been left out.
She accused Ida Odinga of holding onto all the title deeds and property for her own children, saying the wealth belongs to all of Jaramogi’s children and grandchildren, not just Raila Odinga’s family.
She urged Aida to release the documents and allow fair sharing of the estate.

Lady Anyango also mentioned Oburu Odinga, saying he is silent because he already received his share.
She added that he should retire from leadership and allow younger people, including his children, to take over.
She denied claims that she is mentally unstable, saying she is only old, poor, and brave enough to speak for the weak.
She said she wants nothing for herself, only justice for the forgotten children. Her emotional plea has sparked intense debate among Kenyans online.
