Nakuru County Announces 194 Permanent Jobs: How to Apply

Nakuru County Government has announced 194 permanent and pensionable job vacancies in a major recruitment drive aimed at strengthening service delivery across different departments.

The vacancies, which have been advertised by the Nakuru County Public Service Board, cover key sectors such as finance, health, administration, engineering, human resources, and support services.

Governor Susan Kihika’s administration says the recruitment is part of ongoing efforts to improve efficiency in county operations and service delivery to residents.

Jobs Available in Different Departments

In the finance department, the county is hiring Accountant I and Accountant II officers, with salaries ranging from about KSh 34,420 to KSh 57,320 depending on the job grade.

Other finance-related positions include senior accountants, chief accountants, and assistant directors of accounting services, with salaries going up to over KSh 130,000 per month for senior roles.

The revenue department has also opened vacancies for revenue officers and assistant chief revenue officers, with pay ranging between KSh 46,120 and KSh 96,130.

In supply chain and administration, several positions are available, including supply chain officers, HR assistants, and office administrative staff.

The county has also advertised clerical, driver, gardener, and support staff jobs, with salaries starting from around KSh 18,000 per month.

Health Sector Jobs

In the health department, Nakuru County is recruiting professionals such as:

  • Medical Specialist (Internal Medicine)
  • Pharmacist
  • Nursing Officers
  • Clinical Officers
  • Enrolled Nurses

These jobs offer salaries ranging from about KSh 40,000 to over KSh 139,000, depending on the position and qualifications.

Other Senior Positions

The county is also seeking to fill senior roles in areas such as:

  • Housing
  • Engineering
  • Urban development
  • Human resource management
  • Cooperative services

Some of these senior positions attract salaries of up to KSh 182,890 per month.
