These Are the 40 MPs Who Voted Against the 2026 Finance Bill

Forty Members of Parliament voted against the 2026 Finance Bill during voting in the National Assembly.
Out of the 349 lawmakers in Parliament, only a section of MPs took part in the vote on the Bill, which contains tax and revenue proposals for the 2026/2027 financial year.
Among those who opposed the Bill were Embakasi East MP Babu Owino, alongside several legislators from different political parties and regions across the country.
