A video circulating widely on social media shows a man allegedly printing bundles of Kenyan currency using a machine inside his house, raising concerns that the notes could be counterfeit.
In the footage, the man is seen inserting blank sheets of paper into the machine, which later produces notes resembling Ksh 1,000 bills. At first glance, the notes appear genuine and could easily be mistaken for real currency.
The suspected fake notes are believed to be used in fraudulent activities and to deceive business owners who may not be able to identify counterfeit money.
