President Ruto Shows Full Support to Former Mungiki Leader Maina Njenga Contributes Half a Million to Support His Father’s Burial

The President of Kenya, His Excellency William Ruto, contributed Ksh 500,000 towards the burial expenses of Maina Njenga’s father.
Advocate of the High Court, Wahome Thuku, who took to Facebook to confirm this news, said that President William Ruto sent MP Kawanjiku with the money.
Sources have confirmed that Maina Njenga lost his father, Mzee Stephen Njoroge, who died at the age of 101.

He is going to be laid to rest on December 30, 2025.
Speaking about his father’s death, Maina called on residents to celebrate his father, whom he said lived a long life.
Maina Njenga said, “We would like to call on our people not to break down because he lived his life. Let us celebrate him. He lived a very long time. The people of Mount Kenya are one; we are going to show him that we are still united.”

Maina also dismissed leaders who have been saying that they are listening to the ground, affirming that they are the ground.
He called on the people of Mount Kenya to remain united, adding that they are not going to give up in their fight for what is right until they win.
