Details Emerge About Lady Who Died at Asake Concert
Information has come out about the young woman who lost her life during a tragic incident at the Asake and Gabzy concert held at Nyayo National Stadium on December 20, 2025.
The concert turned chaotic after heavy rainfall. Hundreds of fans reportedly rushed into the stadium at the same time, leading to a stampede that left many people injured, and others lost their phones. Sadly, one person passed away.
The girl who died has been identified as Karen Lojore, a student at Daystar University. According to a message shared by students, Daystar University student leader Reverend Johnny Miano Weche confirmed that Karen was studying Applied Computer Science. He described Karen as a beloved member of the Daystar community and said her sudden passing deeply saddened the university.

After the stampede, Karen was rushed to the hospital for emergency treatment but was pronounced dead upon arrival. Her body was later taken to City Mortuary.
Videos circulating online show groups of fans running into the stadium after a security fence was broken. The situation worsened due to the rain, with people pushing forward in a bid to access the venue.
Several attendees sustained injuries, while others reported losing phones, bags, and other personal items during the chaos. The incident has raised serious concerns about event planning and crowd control.
Nigerian music star Asake, who was the main performer at the concert, expressed his sorrow after learning about the incident.
In a message shared on social media, the singer said he was heartbroken by the loss and sent condolences to Karen’s family and friends.
