Questions Emerge as Vehicle Used by Masked Goons in Ol Kalou Shares Number Plate with Dola Group Probox

Questions have emerged after a Toyota Prado that was reportedly used to ferry masked men during the Ol Kalou by-election was found to have the same registration number as a Toyota Probox owned by flour milling company Dola Group.
The incident happened during Thursday’s by-election, where the masked group was accused of attacking members of the public and journalists.
Although both vehicles carry the registration number KDW 600Q, they are different models. One is a Toyota Prado, while the other is a Toyota Probox registered to Dola Group.
Dola Group has denied any connection to the Prado seen in Ol Kalou. In a statement, the company said the Probox bearing the same registration number belongs to them and has not been involved in the incident.
The company also said it has reported the matter to the police and asked investigators to establish how another vehicle came to use the same registration number.
Meanwhile, an NTV report aired on Friday highlighted the registration number controversy while covering the violence witnessed during the by-election. The report also stated that Dola Group did not respond to the broadcaster’s request for comment before the story was aired.
Authorities are expected to investigate the matter and establish the true identity of the vehicle that transported the masked men.
