Farouk Kibet Downplays Ol Kalou Win, Says One Seat Won’t Change Government Plans

Farouk Kibet has dismissed the opposition’s celebrations following their victory in the Ol Kalou by-election, saying they are making too much out of winning a single seat.
Speaking to supporters, Kibet said some politicians were celebrating as if they had achieved a major national victory, yet they had only secured one elective position.
He also criticized what he described as leaders using tribal politics to gain support, adding that such celebrations should not distract government supporters.
According to Kibet, the Ol Kalou by-election result will not affect the government’s plans or political direction. He urged his supporters to remain focused and continue backing the government’s agenda instead of paying attention to the opposition’s celebrations.
